New Question on Race and Ethnic Identities

As part of Kolot's journey to become an anti-racist congregation, we want to know and celebrate the racial and ethnic identities of all of our members, non-member partners, and children so we can best engage and embrace our whole community.  To that end, at the suggestion of our Race Working Group we have added the following optional questions. If you have any questions or comments, please contact info@kolotchayeinu.org. We invite your feedback.

Membership Type

Fair Share 5779 Membership Dues (Sept. 1-Aug. 31)

Kolot is a diverse community and deeply committed to our values of inclusion, accessibility and mutual responsibility. We also firmly believe that money should never be an obstacle to a person’s involvement in Jewish community.

Kolot’s Fair Share Dues mean that our dues help meet Kolot’s needs, reflect our commitment to the community, are meaningful contributions, and respect the diversity of our members’ economic circumstances. Those with less, pay less; those with more, pay more. And in addition, all Kolot members and the many supporters and friends of Kolot are asked to give contributions as they can. Without this combination of income — Fair Share Dues and contributions — Kolot cannot operate. When you make your pledge, we ask you to be both candid about your financial level and as generous as possible!

Kolot Membership Dues may be paid in any installment arrangement that meets your needs during our congregational year. To assist with our budget planning, a portion of your dues must be paid by January 1 and dues must be paid in full by June 30.

Membership dues are not refundable and they are 100% tax deductible!

Fair Share 5779 Dues Table (Sept. 1-Aug. 31)

We ask that you pledge at least the recommended amount from the table above for your individual income level, but will be grateful for any additional level pledge you decide. For the year 5779, if every current member pledged $3,190 Kolot would cover our budgeted expenses of $1,327,320.

Joining Mid Year?

This form is used for congregational year 5779 (Sept-Aug) starting Sept 2018.  If you are joining for the congregational year 5779 during Mar-Aug 2019, you may prorate your pledge accordingly.

High Holy Days Pledge

Kolot Chayeinu welcomes everyone to attend our High Holy Days services without charge. Our members feel a spiritual, personal and communal responsibility for each other.

We share our High Holy Days services with everyone…and they cost a lot to put together. A large percentage of our annual budget is based on your donations made at this time of year. So please, figure out how much you can afford and give.

Give for what it costs us to produce the High Holy Days—to pay a fair wage to our Clergy, our musicians, our educators, and our facilities and administrative staff; to pay for the rent for the space; and the insurance. These costs are not fixed—in fact, they’re growing. We know you know Kolot Chayeinu is a special place, worth every penny you can afford.

High Holiday Pledge:

We recommend $180 minimum contribution per person attending High Holy Day services.

Enter total pledge for all persons attending. We recommend $180 contribution per person.
